The Shooting Show – Rimfire rabbits and barn pigeons

This week, Byron Pace is joined by his brother Darryl, fresh from anti-piracy work in the Middle East. It’s a different type of quarry for Darryl today: the rabbits that populate a new shooting ground in the Angus glens. The area has not been hunted before and the brothers have their work cut out – it’s not long before they rack up a three-figure bag, and their work is still far from done.
South of the border, Byron is joined by Sporting Rifle writer Tony Megson for some airgun pest control on a Yorkshire farm: curbing the population of pigeons that roost in the barn and contaminate the feed. There’s another big bag to be had here – provided the pair can avoid angering the barn’s resident pigs.
