First up we’re in Scotland, on the high tops above the infamous Bloody Lochan for some high-altitude ptarmigan. After a brief fishing interlude on the loch itself, Pete heads up the hill for a solo attempt at a brace or two of Britain’s wildest and most elusive game bird. With conditions proving a challenge, not to mention the birds’ natural ability at camouflage, this is going to be anything but easy.
