The Shooting Show — pigeon shooting over rape and the Cerakote coating

First, we’re back with Geoff Garrod controlling the pigeons on his patch of Essex. Last time we took on the woodies with Geoff there was still snow on the fields but it’s an entirely different scenario today — shooting with decoys and hide over a sun-soaked rape field. We’ve also given him a Lincoln Elite de Luxe shotgun to test — stoked up with Eley VIP loads, it’s a formidable combo and it soon gets Geoff onto the birds. Now we just have to hope enough show up to make an exciting day’s shooting!

Later, we head up the east coast to visit Riflecraft and learn about the Cerakote concept — a spray-on rifle coating that aims to give your gear military strength. Riflecraft’s Mark Dunford shows us what it is, how to use it and how it could make a real difference to your shooting.
