The Shooting Show – high-altitude feral goats in Ireland

We’ve crossed the Irish Sea for a stalk with a difference. It’s not red, fallow or sika in our sights – it’s feral goat. Jason Doyle takes us out on a nearby estate, and Scotsman Rob McCuaig joins him as the rifle. Rob’s ready for an enjoyable stalk, but the goats have other ideas – they like to stay at high altitude, meaning there’s a tough climb ahead of the boys before they even get a sight of their quarry…

Then there’s the Shooting Show news, with a report from the conclusion of the Beretta World at the weekend – plus a battle between shooters and GPs, and what shooting organisations are doing to protect the use of lead shot.
