We’re out at the ducks in Yorkshire – not once, not twice, but three nights in a row. Ian and Nick are our resident guns, one shouldering an old side-by-side and the other a nifty Browning 28-bore o/u. But regardless of shotgun choice, the plan is the same: one test night to see whether it’s possible to shoot and film at our chosen location, one night where the ducks come thick and fast – including plenty of teal – and a bonus night where the wind threatens to spoil things completely, but the boys still manage to pull something out of the bag.
