The Shooting Show 100th show special – Coburg wild boar and a big bag of pigeons

We trek to Coburg, Germany, for a boar hunt like no other. The area was the inspiration for some of Ian Fleming’s James Bond books, and we’re inspired in turn, dispatching agents Pyle and Garrod for a foot stalk amid the forestry. This area is home to a boar population of epic proportions, but with boar, nothing is ever guaranteed – and danger is always a possibility.

At home, Justin Garrod is left to take charge of the pigeon control solo – and all his abilities are called on when huge numbers of the grey menace descend on an oilseed crop field. There’s a bumper bag to be had, and we’re there to capture all the shooting on camera.
