Chris Dalton doesn’t get much of a Christmas break – he’s got a roe doe cull quota to complete, and deer dogs to train at the same time. So he’s out on his ground with fledgling deer dog Zosia and more experienced hound Oscar, hoping to get into a doe. But the midwinter hours means late starts and early finishes – in such a short time frame, will luck be on our side?
