The Shooting Show – blue wildebeest, impala, T-Bolt rabbiting and the Hammerli Black Force 800

With three packages and three quarry species in our sights, it’s a bumper edition for episode 61 of The Shooting Show.

First, to Africa, where we’re back with Mugaba Safaris’ Patrick de Beer and British guest Paul Childerley. They have two more species on the list before the safari concludes: first blue wildebeest, then impala. Between the heat, the unforgiving bush and the spiders, there’s no such thing as an easy hunt in Africa, but Paul has all the experience needed to meet the challenge. Will he make it ‘five out of five’ for his safari? Watch on and find out…

Back on these shores we’ve kitted out our Scottish supremos Byron Pace and Edan Annand with the Browning T-Bolt – and we’ve given them a permission overpopulated by rabbits to test it out on. The T-Bolt is a straight-pull rimfire, and what better way to test such a rarity than with an in-the-field review? Don’t miss it as the shots are fired and the coneys drop.

And finally, the Shooting Show expands to take in a regular airgun section as the most respected man in the business, Airgun Shooter editor Nigel Allen, weighs in with his views on the Hammerli Black Force 800.

On top of all that there’s the Shooting Show news, with all that’s fit to report from a south-west airgun open day to grouse season predictions and a look ahead to the CLA Game Fair.
